Research & publications

Evidence, made useful.

This library brings together approved research that informs the initiative and public work developed through it. Every item states what it is, who prepared it, when it was issued, the evidence on which it relies, and whether it supersedes an earlier version.

Drafts, participant materials, and controlled pre-reads do not appear here.

Provenance

Where the evidence comes from.

Public editions draw on four classes of evidence, each held to the standards on the Methods page: official statistics (the U.S. National Travel and Tourism Office; Statistics Canada); industry analytics and forecasting (the World Travel & Tourism Council, the U.S. Travel Association, Tourism Economics, Oxford Economics); continuous, methodologically consistent audience intelligence across source markets and institutions (IMPACTS Experience); and peer-reviewed econometric frameworks, applied with assumptions disclosed.

The initiative's foundational instruments — the Global Cultural Performance Indicator Framework, the Measurement & Evidence Standards, the Evaluation Rubric for funders and policymakers, and the Pilot Implementation Plan — were developed for an executive working process and are being prepared against the publication threshold below.

Public editions are being prepared.

The initiative's foundational work was developed for an executive working process. Public editions will appear here only after their claims, sources, permissions, and methods have been reviewed for broader use.

The Forum's v1.0 findings are in the final stage of publication and will appear here first. This is a publication threshold, not a promotional timetable: material is released when it is sufficiently clear, supportable, and useful to stand on its own.
